Nature’s Way Natural Pest Control, Inc., is a company with a unique new concept in the
pest control industry. It is the brainchild of David Miller and Gina McDonough.
David is State Certified Pest Control Operator in the categories of General Household
Pest Control, Lawn & Ornamental Pest Control and Wood Destroying Organism Pest
Control. Prior to starting Nature's Way with his wife Gina he worked as a professional
entomologist and chemist for thirty years. David invented our liquid product line.
Gina has a background in business and education and worked in IT for several Fortune
500 companies. Gina is the business director of Nature's Way. Gina has a Masters
Degree in Business and is a State Certified Pest Control Operator in the categories of
General Household Pest Control, Wood-Destroying Organism Pest Control and Lawn &
Ornamental Pest Control. Gina designed and with her Techs implements our all-natural
whole home pest control program. Gina also invented our dry mineral product line.
JODY & SHERI
Jody and Sheri Pruitt joined us three years ago and they are passionate about natural,
sustainable living. Sheri has been involved in the natural wellness industry for the last
10 years. Sheri has traveled the world and is great with people. Sheri is great with the
social media and networking with customers.
Jody grew up in Northern California and is a licensed electrician with a background in
business. Jodi along with David designed our Natural Lawn Care Program and our Save
Green,...Go Green Termite Program.
Jody & Sheri focus on the St. Augustine to Daytona Beach area to bring Safe, Natural,
Effective Pest Control to our customers there.
BILL
Bill Small is one of our top technicians who is proficient our safe, effective treatment
methods for your home or businesses. Coming from a business background and
completely familiar with building techniques, he is great at finding ways to get into all
the areas that bugs try to hide.
Bill inspects the exterior, attic areas and crawl spaces, searching for pests and any
potential structural issues that our home and business owners are not aware of to save
them time and money long term.

What is natural pest control?

What does the term “natural” mean?
In the Webster’s Dictionary natural is defined as an adjective meaning, produced or existing by nature, not
artificial. In our modern society natural is increasingly being used to mean anything that is good, safe and
healthy. However, in the strict definition of the word that simply is not true. The animal and plant kingdoms
produce the most poisonous substances on our earth, not to mention the fungi, molds and bacteria. So it is
important to understand the chemistry and mode of action of any "natural" products before you use them.
What does the term “pest” mean?
In the modern pest control industry it is defined most commonly as an animal or plant out of place. A dandelion
in your yard is a pest; it’s a weed. Yet at face value dandelions have pretty yellow flower, that actually make a
tasty wine and the young tender leaves are a nutritious food cooked like spinach. Most people would rather not
have the weed than have the wine, and that is the way with most pests. They usually have a good side, but most
often the bad side overcomes the good. For instance, fire ants prey on serious lawn pests like chinch bugs, but
anybody familiar with this painful and dangerous pest knows in needs to go.
So, it is important to understand the behavior and biology of the animals that invade homes & lawns to
determine whether or not it is a pest or a "good guy" like a robber fly or a hawk moth.
